More Archie redesigns

Reader Lachlan Phillips has let us know that he’s done a few of his own redesigns of the Riverdale gang in the style of other artists such as Frank Cho, Frank Miller, and Penny Arcade’s Mike Krahulik. I think it’s a great idea, and I’d love to see more! I invite all our readers to create their own redesigns of the Archie gang, either in their own style, or as parodies like these. Perhaps upload them to Flickr and tag them “archieredesign” so we can see them all! Get going!

Edit: Luc makes a good point that since Flickr is finicky about illustrations showing up in public searches that you should post the images to your blog with the same tag so Technorati can pick it up. Post the link in the comments here, and I’ll compile them all into their own post some time after the holidays!

    ps: May I suggest adding said images to one’s blog, and tagging those entries with the same tag — “archieredesign” — so that Technorati and other blog-spidering services can pick it up.

    Flickr is fickle about non-photos; I tagged Stuart Immomen’s Archie and Jughead there, and it won’t show up in the search. Check his awesome drawing:

    No worries, Luc– thanks for the link. I guess I jumped the gun on this as I originally posted my drawing on the 20th… I’ve also encouraged members on The Drawing Board to submit to this thread. I’d love to see even more…

    Well im pretty new to the whole anime manga scene, but i do think this is a cool blog..
