Nick Anderson interviewed by NPR

Nick Anderson, who takes home 2005′s Pullitzer Prize for editorial cartooning, is interviewed by NPR. Anderson, unlike many these days, doesn’t pull his punches in his work. The interview is worth listening to, especially to hear Anderson telling Terry Gross about the ins and outs of Corel Painter.

    Mr.Burns: Pulitzer prize winner eh? Ex-cellent … lets hire him to draw cartoons for our plant! A little entertainment for the drones shall we say, and … cut the cartoonist’s commision from their year end bonuses.
    Smithers: Uhm sir? they dont have bonuses
    Mr.Burns: Well then, just take it out of their salaries
