Philip Anderson

At first I thought his work was done digitally, but according to his portfolio on the i Spot, illustrator Philip Anderson uses a combination of gouache and ink collage to create his very stylized, very shapely illustrations.

Straight into my bookmarks. He’s got really good ideas and such clever compositions. I love the first pic of the board meeting, with buzzwords being thrown out on the table, and the chimps on typewriters.
    Thanks for that…

Thanks, Jared, for bringing Anderson’s work to the Drawn! audience. I’ve been aware of and have followed Phil’s work for many years and he has always taken an original, tasty approach to illustration. I’m happy to see he is still hanging in there, exploring new ways to express himself. Kudos to Phillip Anderson.
