I am equal parts enamoured and terrified by The Pin Pals, the wonderful gangly-armed creations of RedRooster Craft. RedRooster cryptically describe themselves as, “two self-taught crafters drawing inspiration from illustration, vintage children’s books, life in Montreal, and any small interesting treasures we find in our thrift store hunts along the way.”

The PIN PALs are everywhere in Montreal these days, rocking hipsters at zine fairs and gracing the New Year’s cover of the arts weekly, The Montreal Mirror.
