Grandma’s Graphics offers dozens of public domain children’s illustrations (not in high-res, unfortunately, but decent enough for screen-only work) including the work of Sir John Tenniel for Lewis Carroll’s Alice books, which are as much a part of the Alice mythology as Carroll’s text itself.
