Flickr user Brad Cornelius, having read about Jan Lewitt and George Him in Children’s Book Covers: Great Book Jacket and Cover Design by Alan Powers, found very little info (and even fewer examples of their work) on the web, but managed to track down a 1938 copy of Locomotive, The Turnip and The Birds’ Broadcast, a collection of rhymes by Julian Twim with illustrations by Lewitt-Him.
