Remka

Cute Japanese-style digital paintings set to often-serious themes.

Check out Remka’s ultra-cool pixelly video-game art, also. (If anyone knows where we can download a working version of ‘Escape From Santa’s Factory of Hell,’ let us know!)

Looks like the game is linked in his blog:

I’ve only recently discovered Remka, but his work has been at the top of my “inspirational” list. Solid work!

Thanks for the kind message, guys (btw my visitors counter got a big shock today) !

There is no offline version of the game because it uses maps stored in the DB, and I never managed to do more than the small demo that Michael has just posted. I’m now planning to make a new one, with much a “zelda-like view”, maybe more appropriate for this kind of games…

Also wanted to say that I really like your blog, always filled with good and inspiring links. Hope you’ll keep on posting (and sorry for my poor english).
