Cartoonist Dan Thompson has just launched his new comic strip, the sublimely-named Rip Haywire. A send-off of action/adventure strips like Steve Canyon (Thompson’s signature even parodies Milton Caniff’s) this certainly looks promising. Strips appear on the site (and in its RSS feed) one week after they appear in print.

The Rip Haywire site even includes regularly-updated (again, including RSS feeds) of Caniff’s original Steve Canyon and Male Call, as well as Stan Lynde’s Latigo and Thompson’s own wonderfully-drawn Lost Sheep strip.
