This is a short-but-sweet local news profile of one my favourites, Roz Chast. Note how they open the piece by referring to her as “a rising star” before pointing out how she has been published in the New Yorker since 1978. Who writes these things?

    The program, CBS Sunday morning is not a local show, but a national program that has been on the air for nearly 30 years. I don’t know when this particular segment aired, but it was some time ago. Perhaps not enough for the rising star comment to be so logical, but it sure isn’t new.

    Perhaps some fact checking is in order on this end too.

    iondot — the feature talks about her book, Theories of Everything, that came out last year, and features a clip of her interview with Steve Martin, which was also last year. The piece is most certainly no more than a year old.
