Here’s a fun gallery of interpretations of characters Stan Lee helped create. The above Hulk and Spidey painting by Jeremy Tinder (acrylic on panel). Looks like the pieces are for sale at Gallery 1988 in LA.

UPDATE: Jed points out that there are a lot of characters in the gallery show that Lee did not create:
“…some of the characters, like Wolverine and Captain America, Lee had no hand in creating. Sometimes he tends to get credit for the whole kit and kaboodle, and it aint so, though I would give him more credit than many.”
We would be remiss if we didn’t point out that Hulk (above) was co-created by Jack Kirby, and Spidey was co-created by Steve Ditko.
