The 100 Artists Project Charity Art Auction

Salas

The tireless Ben Rollman (previously) has been working on the 100 Artists Project for nearly a year now, and it’s reached the culminating step: all 100 pieces of art are being auctioned on ebay for charity. You’ll have to hurry, it ends in a couple days. From the listing:

What you are bidding on is 100 pieces of original artwork from such artists as Travel Foreman, Adam Koford, Nate Lovett, Len Peralta, and Jeremy Dale. Each piece is roughly 9×12 and ranges from penciled art to inked and colored to full paint. There are no reproductions, this is all completely original art.

For the past 9 months, the 100 Artists Project has collected art from all over the world in order to support two funds that have been helping artists for over 20 years. Now it’s your turn to help. 100% of the proceeds go directly to the selected charities and in the process you receive 100 pieces of fantastic art.

It’s a win win.

This project runs primarily off word of mouth. If you aren’t able to bid, but know someone who is, please let them know. The more people know about the auction, the more money we can raise for the funds.

Seen above, artwork donated by Ronald Salas (easily worth the initial bid on it’s own). The rest can be seen here.

This was a fun project to be a part of. My sketch was created while I was watching “Shark Week ” on Discovery. I would gladly participate in another one.
Now, if my contribution gets accepted into Beasts 2, I’ll be all set!

I was part of this as well (Benjamin Rivers) and it was a lot of fun. I’m glad projects like this exist; it’s so interesting to see one’s work rocketed to God-knows-where and appearing online and something wholly different.

Thanks to Ben Rollman for putting this together!
