The Da Vinci Lode

A nice collection of drawings by the world’s most famous Renaissance Man, Leonardo da Vinci, can be found waiting for you at the Drawings of Leonardo da Vinci site. The drawings include medical studies, scientific diagrams, and of course — flying machines.

That’s my ex-roommate’s site (he made it while I lived with him). He used to host it at the Minnesota SuperComputer Institute where he worked for a puffed up bastard of a geophysicist (that gave him a nervous breakdown) doing scientific visualization. It was on a subsection the geophysicist’s site. The Prof used to think it his work that was generating all the traffic, when it was actually the Leonardo gallery! It’s been up (not on Visi, but still up) since 1996.
