The Etch-a-Sketchist

Of all the artists’ tools out there, why anyone chooses the immensely frustrating and inherently impermanent Etch-a-Sketch is beyond me, but I still love ‘em. And so does the Etch-a-Sketchist, a blogger who works entirely in the squiggly-lined medium.

Thanks for the link! Personally I find the Etch-a-Sketch to be very easy and not frustrating at all. Just a little practice goes a long way. In fact, I’ve had more frustrations dealing with traditional materials like pens and brushes. And I think the fragility and imperneance of the medium gives each piece a nice combination of preciousness and disposablity that I like.
