The Upside-Down Me

The Upside-Down Me is a comic book that has been adapted the the web. It stars siblings Zip and Li’l Bit, and although there are only 3 pages posted so far, I’m already a fan. It’s wonderfully drawn, and the writing seems appropriately light and fun. The site is updated twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays.

Well I’m not usually the biggest fan of cute/kid comics and illustration, but I gotta say this is some really well drawn and funny stuff. The re-use of backgrounds, those question marks that pop up and the flashlight almost make it feel like an animation. Very impressive.

One of the better web comics I’ve seen. Great drawings, staging and color. Interesting story. This one gets it right.

“One of the better?” Faint praise.

This is one of the BEST.

I hope Mr. Loeffler will continue on … and get a nice book deal!
