Trichrome Blue

Lois van Baarle‘s graduation animation for the Utrecht School of the Arts, Trichrome Blue, is a hypnotic underwater Through the Looking Glass odyssey presented as a strange, futuristic commercial.

Looks like we can expect Trichrome Red and Trichrome Yellow in the future.

(One can only assume that Trichrome Green is made out of people.)

    Gorgeous! Wonderful sense of design, great sound effects, stupendous animation. I love the dreamy undercurrent of menace that keeps getting turned around into ever more-blissful serenity.
