VanBeater

Anyone who names his different styles “shabby” and “candy” is a-ok in my book! Ladies and gents, say hello to VanBeater.

    I poked around the site for a bit and it looks interesting. I did have one major problem though. The site is all flash and at a size I estimate to be 1024×768.

    On my 800×600 screen the site looks bad and is only partially navigatable. I couldn’t access anything to pass this on to the site owner. It is a shame that the owner didn’t take this into consideration because what I could see looks great.

    One other thing: at first I thought this was a blatant ripoff of Trevor Van Meter, but apparently VanBeater is his alter ego or something.

    Yeah, it’s me … TVM. VanBeater isn’t really my alter ego. Just an attempt to separate different types of work. The name “VanBeater” is just one of those many clever variations on “Van Meter” I herd growing up. For example : MR. Meter, Van Peter, Bland Meter, Meter Peter, Etc. “VanBeater” was the one I was most amused by, so i decided to go with it.
