There are copycats out there, but Monsieur Z is not one of them. He’s probably been around longer than I have in this field, and he’s done some sweet sweet spreads for Wallpaper* magazine back when it first came out. Some people have accused me of copying him. And I’ve also been told that my older ink & watercolour work looks like I’m copying the great Maurice Vellekoop (another Wallpaper* contributor from way back) so there’s no escaping it.
