So much fun: Silhouette Masterpiece Theatre is a brilliant series of hard-to-define, hand-cut Victorian silhouettes by Wilhelm Staehle. Is it art? Is it comics? Is it both? Who cares; I love it.

Hope you don’t find this inappropriate, but this reminds me of a series by South-African artist Von Brandis (which he later removed from his flicker set). But some of the pieces from this series, called Obscene Interiors, can still be found here and there on the web:

I love it how he’s clearly showing without ACTUALLY showing when we think he’s showing.
