Unfortunately there’s no embeddable video for this short, but do check it out at its own site. Antoine Arditii’s Yulia is an entertaining black-and-white short about a woman who finds herself looking for love in a stark, empty room. The rotoscoped animation was created by printing out 3D animation onto paper, and tracing it with pencil.

    heart broken this has nothing to do with Yulia from Fist of the North Star. it IS cool animation though!

    I tried watching the film on the website, and it wouldn't play all the way through. :( As soon as the cat latched itself onto her head, it skipped back to the beginning. :(
