Best known for his Emmy Award winning animated creation TUTENSTEIN, Annie-nominated JETCAT shorts, and Cartoon Network series THE SECRET SATURDAYS, Canadian Jay Stephens started out as an ‘alternative’ comic book creator in the early ’90’s, and has gone on to become an acclaimed childrens’ magazine cartoonist and and father of two. His influences include Warren Kramer, Mariscal, the Beano, Shigeru Mizuki, John Lennon, Single Malt Scotch, Hal Roach, John Stanley, Alex Toth, Richard Scarry, Winsor McCay, and Charles Schulz.
