This dadaist film from 1928 uses animation and early camera tricks to explore a series of strange, supernatural occurrences — a puddle of water flows into a garden hose, men disappear behind a lamp post, and a group of ghostly bowler hats floats through air. The original score by composer Paul Hindemith was later destroyed by the Nazis.
