I Like Girls

2016, Diane Obomsawin

Diane Obomsawin asked some of her friends what their first memory was of being attracted to another woman. I Like Girls tells four of their stories of sexual awakening and falling in love. Based on her graphic novel On Loving Women, the short is filled with tender moments both heartwarming and sad, and is peppered with Obomsawin's delightfully odd sense of humour.

This week Drawn is featuring BIPOC creators and stories in support of Black Lives Matter and the protests around the world to end systemic racism, particularly in policing. Join me in donating to both the Black Legal Action Centre and the Native Women's Association of Canada.
