The Insects' Christmas

My favourite Christmas cartoons are the Rankin-Bass stop motion specials like Rudolph. Maybe it's because the animated puppets seem so much like toys that have come to life, but stop motion feels very Christmassy to me, and this early example from 1913 is no exception—a Santa Claus ornament escapes from a Christmas tree, and heads into the woods to celebrate the holidays with the local insect population.
