Christoph Niemann (previously) has used LEGOS to create a series of NYC icons. Simple and wonderful.

This post on Laughing Squid reminded me that I wanted to mention the work of Christoph Niemann. His simple, brightly-coloured spot illustrations usually accompany James Surowiecki’s articles in the New Yorker, but if you keep an eye out, you can find his stuff everywhere.

And deservedly so – his work is so clear and clever that he is almost forgiven for laying claim to the most abhorrent MySpace page ever.
