The incomparable ASIFA-Hollywood Animation Archive Blog has done it again — they’ve posted a rare 1923 edition of Grimm’s Fairy Tales illustrated by Gustaf Tenggren (Part 1 | Part 2)
When we first posted about Gustaf Tenggren, there was little to nothing online representing his work. Since then, the A-HAA Blog has been spoiling us with many, many samples.
A while back we posted about the Internet’s lack of information about early Disney artist Gustaf Tenggren. The ASIFA Animation Archive blog to the rescue again! They recently posted some illustrations of Tenggren’s from a children’s book called Small Fry and the Winged Horse. Earlier they also posted his illustrations for a Little Golden Book entitled The Little Trapper.
