Badly Drawn Roy

This is pretty fun. Badly Drawn Roy is a short animated and live action mockumentary about Roy, an animated character born into a live action family.

Fintan Taite

Just when I’m thinking we could use more Irish representation, Fintan Taite comes along with this knock-out portfolio. His editorial work is a combination of some great retro linework and a sort of updated Ralph Steadman Ronald Searle energy.

If you’re curious about what else is happening on the Emerald Isle, Taite is also chairman of the Illustrators Guild of Ireland; which is a great resource for portfolios and art events around the country.

Heather Sloane

I’m enchanted by the lovely creations of Belfast illustrator Heather Sloane. Simple, colourful, and bursting with childlike charm, her work delights me to no end.
