The Agronaut (clever title!) is a charming animated short by Polish studio GS Animation. The tale of a colonist trying to sustain human life on another planet is told without dialogue, and with a great sense of timing and style.

The Grayspace Poster Gallery has over 200 examples of movie posters designed by Polish artists (all on the same page, so dialup users beware) since 1940. It’s too bad there isn’t any information about the artists and that they can’t be viewed larger, but it is still well worth checking out.

The designs for Sunset Boulevard (seen here), Back to the Future, and Young Frankenstein are my favorites.
