Work/Life

Little Critters

Too cute. Little Critters is an exhibit at Calgary’s Uppercase Gallery, billing itself as “affordable artwork by Canadian illustrators”.

The Shatner Show

Having recently posted a link to bad Spock drawings, what could possibly be a better follow-up than the Shatner Show? The show features dozens of inspired homages to everyone’s favourite Montreal-born galaxy-hopping actor, director, and singer: William Shatner. Even the Shat himself is impressed:

Who am I to stand in the way of all these fine artists and artisans who want to use my lumpy, aging face for inspiration? Some creators love a great sunset; some have in mind my bloodshot eyes. Nevertheless, out of awe, amusement, or pity, you should come and see this unique show.

Brilliant. You can see all the show’s entries at the Shatner Show site.

The Shatner Show runs from June 15 to August 31 at the Uppercase Gallery in Calgary, AB.
